Responsibilities
Guide a cross-functional Agile team in delivering a Salesforce-based SaaS solution
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) to ensure efficient team collaboration and delivery
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and design system features (e.g., workflows, processes)
Ensure the project meets DoD and federal government security and compliance standards, supporting efforts to obtain Authorization to Operate (ATO)
Remove team impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals
Support gate reviews for system and acquisition of lifecycle checkpoints, ensuring timely delivery of required documentation
Promote effective communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership to align project objectives and progress
Assist in delivering user training to ensure effective adoption of the new system
Maintain Agile artifacts (e.g., product backlog, sprint backlog) and track progress using tools like Jira or equivalent
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams, preferably on Salesforce or SaaS implementation projects
Must have a 4-year bachelors degree by contract
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Scrum Master certification required
Candidates must obtain and maintain a Public Trust
Candidate must be a US citizen residing in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S
Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) of the last five (5) years
Preferred
Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of DoD and federal government security standards and experience supporting ATO processes
Experience working with federal government clients, particularly DHS or DoD
Familiarity with Salesforce, including its general functionality and the use cases it supports
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Prior experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation
Background in data migration projects
