7 Layer Studio is a creative agency delivering strategy and design for ambitious brands. They are seeking a Summer Graphic Design Intern to support the studio with social media content creation, graphic design support, and general studio assistance. This role is ideal for a student currently enrolled in a design program who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a real studio environment.

Graphic Design

Responsibilities

Assist with design tasks as needed
Create and format presentation decks and layouts
Support simple design updates and revisions
Create social media graphics, templates, carousel posts, and video reels
Assist with content planning and scheduling
Organize and maintain content libraries (images, videos, brand assets)
Help brainstorm post ideas and visual storytelling concepts
Conduct research to support studio and design work
Build mood boards
Help organize research findings into clear, shareable formats for the team
Help keep design files organized and accessible
Assist with general studio needs as projects move quickly

Qualification

Adobe Creative SuiteDesign fundamentalsInstagram content formatsLinkedIn content formatsBasic video editing

Required

Currently enrolled in (or recently completed) a program in Graphic Design
Interested in branding, design, and content creation
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable taking direction, asking questions, and learning on the fly
Enjoys working in a collaborative, in-person studio environment
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong design fundamentals (typography, layout, composition)
Familiarity with Instagram and LinkedIn content formats
Available to work in-studio approximately 3 days per week
Must have access to your own laptop/computer
Eligible to receive academic credit through your school

Preferred

Bonus: basic video editing for Reels or short-form content
