Labor And Employment Attorney
Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP is seeking an attorney to join its labor and employment team as a non-partnership track salaried attorney in its New York office. The role requires a candidate with significant litigation and counseling experience, capable of managing cases and advising clients.
Responsibilities
Have a minimum of five years of employment litigation and counseling experience
Have extensive litigation experience
Be capable of running and managing cases
Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel
Arguing motions in court
Have strong analytical, research and writing skills
Be comfortable advising clients directly
Managing deadlines and case dockets
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of employment litigation and counseling experience
New Jersey bar membership is required
New York bar membership is preferred but required within one year of commencing employment
Preferred
Extensive litigation experience
Capable of running and managing cases
Communicating and negotiating with opposing counsel
Arguing motions in court
Strong analytical, research and writing skills
Comfortable advising clients directly
Managing deadlines and case dockets
Experience with traditional labor law is a plus
