Responsibilities

Provide client support as required while maintaining client confidentiality in conformance with program guidelines and federal law
Facilitate client medication call, maintain all medication sheets, and document proper distribution of medications
Keep daily log of pertinent events, notifying counselors of client’s progress or problems
Maintain facility in a clean, orderly fashion while on duty, including regular sweeps of facility, poison checks, client checks, and ground checks
Follow orientation procedures for all new admissions or re-admissions
Supervise clients’ weekly cleaning duties
Assist with answering phones and with new admissions such as preparing room assigned to and bed linens, preparing admission pack for clients (towels, bed linens and blankets, t-shirt and pants), personal belongings search and heat treatment, completing the personal possessions inventory list
Transport clients as needed to outside events, meetings, or appointments
