This role is critical in facilitating emergent and non-emergent communication within the organization, including patient information inquiries and internal communications among healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Facilitating all emergent and non-emergent communication both externally and internally
Looking up patient information for friends and family members of patients and transferring customers to appropriate departments throughout the organization
Utilizing complex on-call schedules with escalations and facilitating nurse to physician and physician to physician communication to include emergent consultations
Assisting with training new employees at your level and additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of computer/Keyboard skills required
Customer Service experience
Preferred
Previous healthcare and multi-line phone experience
Understanding of medical terminology
Call Center experience
