The role involves mentoring and tutoring nursing students, collaborating with faculty to enhance student retention, and developing workshops to improve critical thinking and clinical judgement skills.

Responsibilities
Support instruction, remediation, and evaluation in didactic concepts
Demonstrate accurate knowledge of concepts tested by the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN exam
Demonstrate professional behavior and accountability in all interactions
Develop and provide student workshops and study sessions
Provide 1:1 student support with nursing concepts
Provide group and individual support for NCLEX prep
Mentoring students
Help identify strategies for increase retention
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Unencumbered RN License
BLS CPR Certification
Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, virtually, and in person
Preferred
One-year experience in an academic setting, strongly preferred
Mastery of ATI
