Help Desk Technician
Jones Networking is a non-profit organization seeking a Help Desk Technician. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, assisting with database troubleshooting, and maintaining computer equipment and inventory.

Responsibilities
Answer, enter and track help desk calls and email messages
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, hard drives and monitors
Assist with database troubleshooting and reporting
Install and update software, create profiles, and set up computers for new employees
Responsible for organization and inventory of computer equipment and software licenses
Routine maintenance of computer equipment including setup and removal of any computers, laptops or monitors
Contact third party vendors for repair and accompany technician while on-site
Obtain vendor quotes and purchase hardware & software for the organization
Pack, ship and track equipment sent to vendors
Install software and hardware
Qualification
Required
Minimum three years of related IT and/or help desk experience
Experience with Microsoft Networking including Active Directory
Familiarity with troubleshooting MS Office Suite products
Ability to configure and deploy laptops and PCs
Ability to manage MS Exchange online
Experience troubleshooting website issues utilizing HTML capabilities
Familiarity with Sharepoint
Preferred
Hardware, software or other IT program certification a plus
Remain up to date with the latest developments and trends in the Information Technology field
