Director of Human Resources
MediDrive, LLC is a new non-emergency medical transportation company based in Richmond, VA, seeking a Director of Human Resources. This role is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of all human resources functions, overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws to support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across all departments and levels
Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, facilitating conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment
Oversee performance management systems to ensure consistent evaluation, feedback, and professional development opportunities
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures
Direct compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive and equitable within the industry
Partner with leadership to identify workforce needs and develop succession planning and leadership development programs
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to enhance organizational culture and employee engagement
Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement
Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to maximize their effectiveness and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 8 years of progressive experience in human resources management, including leadership roles
Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices
Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Preferred
Experience in Medical Field and more specifically non emergency medical transport
Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or an MBA
Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR
Experience working in a multi-state or national organization
Demonstrated success in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics tools
