Responsibilities
Manage and grow engagement across Slack, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms
Plan and execute multi-channel content calendars aligned with product and community initiatives
Write, edit, and repurpose content for different audiences and platforms
Coordinate with the product and marketing teams to adapt technical updates into community-friendly narratives
Monitor community conversations, respond promptly, and surface valuable feedback to the team
Track and report engagement metrics, using data to improve strategies
Experiment with new formats and channels to increase reach and participation
Use AI tools to speed up research, writing, and reporting workflows
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years in community management, developer relations, software development, or content marketing
Strong writing skills for short- and long-form content across multiple platforms
Experience managing multi-channel content calendars in technical/developer spaces
Technical fluency: can translate between technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable using AI to speed up content creation and improve quality
Effective, personable communicator—on Slack and on stage
Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams
Located in Eastern Time ±1 hr
Preferred
Background in open-source communities or contributions
Visual storytelling chops: lightweight video, memes, visuals
You enjoy coding, but you love teaching and simplifying
You have your own online presence or know how to activate others'
You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and love to experiment
