Responsibilities

The Outreach & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in connecting the Wellness & Fitness Center (WFC) with members, partners, and the surrounding community

This position is responsible for promoting the WFC’s programs, services and engagement

The Outreach & Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications and outreach initiatives that increase member engagement, drive program participation, and strengthen community partnerships

Utilizing the Mindbody platform, the Outreach & Communications Coordinator creates content and manages digital communications related to class schedules, promotions, events, and member engagement, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across all channels

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Digital Media or other related field

Six (6) months of experience using email marketing platforms and social media tools

Six (6) months of graphic design or content creation experience

Preferred

Experience in Marketing, Outreach, Communications, or Community Engagement

Advanced knowledge of Constant Contact, HubSpot, Mail Chimp, and/or other CRM platforms for managing contacts and email communication initiatives

Knowledge of META, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as the development, implementation, and optimization of social media advertising

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
