Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis through public and proprietary data sources to provide strategic insights in support of players and staff
Assist in pre-series preparation and assignments for player development staff
Perform ad-hoc queries for player development and front office staff as needed
Operate game tracking technology
Navigate for strategic insights
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Has or is pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated quantitative background, either by degree or work sample (SQL, R, Python, Tableau, or other programming language)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or Google G Suite
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Some travel required
Preferred
Playing background at the collegiate level (not limited to baseball or softball) or above a definite plus
