Responsibilities
Assemble & install, network racks, cabinets, switches, firewalls, cameras and wireless Access Points with precision and attention to detail
Assist in managing and maintaining the clients' network infrastructure, ensuring system security, reliability, and performance
Design and install structured cabling paths in compliance with TIA, BICSI, and IEEE Standards, supporting performance, coverage, and scalability
Keep accurate records of issues, solutions, and maintenance tasks to build a knowledge base for the team and improve processes over time
Communicate site needs proactively, meet deadlines, and ensure projects are completed on time and to standard
Work closely with cross-functional teams and management to ensure IT needs are met and participate in ongoing learning to stay ahead of industry trends
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in network cabling or infrastructure installation
Strong working knowledge of TIA, BICSI, and IEEE Standards
Proficient with hand tools and power tools used in infrastructure installation
Ability to safely operate machinery like ladders, scissor/platform lift, etc. (after training provided)
Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Ability to deliver excellent customer service and explain information to non-technical contacts with understanding
Enjoy working with others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a collaborative team environment
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Reliable transportation to and from the office
Valid Driver's License w/ Clean Driving Record
Preferred
A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, or other relevant IT certifications are a plus
