Bank Operations Levy/Garnishment Specialist

Responsibilities
Examines court documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legal sufficiency
Contacts agencies and/or attorneys regarding documents that do not comply with statutes or procedures
Reviews bank files to determine if customer has an account that can be attached
Initiates hold or account restrictions as required
Updates case information into database including phone conversations and ensures all documents are archived
Initiates case closing as appropriate
Provides hard copy answers and remits official checks to courts/agencies
Produces and mails required customer notifications
Collects legal processing fees where allowed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong organization skills
Strong time management skills
Preferred
Previous legal experience
Experience working with databases
Garnishment and/or Collections Experience
