InternIPS Nationwide is seeking a motivated Financial Analyst Intern to support their Finance Department with financial forecasting and budgeting. This role will provide analytical support to improve financial planning and offer forward-looking insights, ideal for students or recent graduates looking for hands-on experience.

Responsibilities
Assist with financial forecasting, including revenue and expense projections
Support the development and maintenance of budgets and financial models
Analyze historical financial data to identify trends and variances
Help prepare financial reports and summaries for leadership review
Collaborate with the Corporate Controller on planning and forecasting initiatives
Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an interest in financial forecasting & budgeting
Proficiency in Excel & Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Located in Southern California, preferably San Diego
Familiarity with basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Prior exposure to forecasting or budgeting through coursework or projects
