Specialist, Clinical Application Support

The Clinical Applications Specialist supports the technology that powers Tapestry 360 Health’s mission to deliver high-quality, compassionate care by providing hands-on support for electronic health records and clinical applications. This role involves troubleshooting systems, collaborating with clinical teams, and ensuring efficient use of technology to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related support across EHR, PMS, and other clinical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with the IT team and external vendors as needed
Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access settings for clinical applications
Provide timely support to staff during clinic hours and participate in on-call rotation as needed
Collaborate with operations and care teams to optimize system workflows and ensure efficient use of clinical applications
Assist in implementing and maintaining downtime protocols and system configurations
Coordinate upgrades, testing, and integration of new features or modules
Deliver end-user training and create educational resources to promote user confidence and consistency
Maintain accurate tracking of Tapestry-provided devices, including distribution and repairs
Support organization-wide technology initiatives, including data migrations, new site openings, and workflow improvements
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field preferred
At least two years of experience supporting healthcare or clinical applications (EHR, PMS, or related)
Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical users
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth in healthcare technology
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Tapestry 360 Health locations
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends during system upgrades or rollouts
Preferred
Experience with AthenaOne or other major EHRs strongly preferred
Prior experience working in a healthcare, FQHC, or ambulatory care environment preferred
