Responsibilities

Engaged in the implementation of technical solutions into the build plan, ensuring production safety and stability, and product reliability
Analyzes and improves design/build concepts to evaluate a producible product definition (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA))
Collect and analyze production data to identify anomalies and investigate root causes when product first-pass quality and/or production efficiency is outside our standards of excellence
Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems that arise during production to ensure the integrity of the product and to minimize impact on performance, cost, or schedule
Regularly engages with mechanics and electricians on airplane manufacturing/assembly processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the efficiency and reliability of the production of detail parts and overall aircraft build plan
Coordinates across teams to implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts
Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop manufacturing and assembly processes, tooling, assembly fixtures, and procedures
Develops and implements process improvements using Lean production methodologies
Able to learn in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to collaborate with both the engineering workforce and the manufacturing team members on the factory floor

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Experience working in an engineering discipline
Experience working in a production environment
2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
