Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall quality strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of quality professionals, including QA, QC, compliance, and microbiology teams
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across departments
Ensure effective deployment and maintenance of quality systems, including document control, change control, CAPA, deviation management, and risk management
Oversee quality reviews, product release processes, and quality decision-making to ensure safety, efficacy, and compliance
Provide oversight for laboratory testing, environmental monitoring, and microbiological programs
Ensure proper qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and testing methodologies
Drive improvements in laboratory performance, data integrity, and technical capability
Ensure site and/or organizational compliance with applicable industry regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO standards) and internal quality standards
Serve as a point of contact for audits and inspections; lead preparation, execution, and response activities
Monitor regulatory trends and adapt quality systems to meet evolving requirements
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, R&D, and other functions to ensure quality is embedded throughout operations
Lead quality risk assessments and support root-cause investigation and corrective/preventive actions
Establish and track quality metrics, communicating performance to leadership and stakeholders
Drive initiatives that improve product quality, reduce waste, enhance efficiency, and strengthen compliance
Leverage data analytics, problem-solving tools, and best practices to improve processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
8–10+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Laboratory, or related fields
Significant people management and leadership experience
Strong knowledge of quality regulations, standards, and industry best practices
Demonstrated success leading complex quality systems and supporting audits/inspections
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Preferred
Advanced degree
