Graduate Assistant - Testing Services - Spring 2026

NEOGOV is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Testing Services at the University of Central Missouri. The role involves supporting the Testing Services office by administering and coordinating various testing programs, assisting with test preparation, proctoring, and customer service duties.

Responsibilities

Assist in the scheduling, setup, and administration of both online and in-person tests, including standardized exams (e.g., ACT, GRE) and UCM-specific assessments
Serve as a proctor for exams, ensuring a fair and secure testing environment for all students
Assist students, faculty, and staff with test registration, policies, and procedures. Provide excellent customer service in addressing inquiries about test dates, requirements, and services offered
Prepare testing materials and ensure all necessary resources are available before the start of exams. Set up testing rooms according to university standards
Maintain accurate records of student participation in testing services. Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks to ensure the integrity of the testing process
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other student workers in Testing Services to ensure the smooth operation of testing events. Assist with the development and improvement of testing procedures
Assist with special projects, student assessments, and other tasks as needed within the Testing Services office

Required

Bachelor's Degree Required
Currently admitted to a UCM graduate degree program
3.0 or higher graduate level GPA if previous graduate level courses have been taken
2.7 or higher undergraduate level GPA if no previous graduate level courses have been taken
