Adjunct- Engineering Career Services
Virginia Commonwealth University - College of Engineering is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for the Career Services Department. The role involves teaching one or two sections of a Professional Development course for engineering students, focusing on career skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and teamwork development.

Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering lectures in alignment with current course-level learning objectives
Preparing and assigning homework and in-class work related to the course
Grading assignments and assigning final course grades
Collecting assessment data and sample student work, as needed
Holding office hours; answering student questions; and providing timely responses to emails, as needed
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources or related field
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as an adjunct at VCU
Preferred
Experience teaching at the undergraduate college level
Experience in the professional workforce practicing the skills to be taught
