Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification, checking appointments and/or work authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining entry logs
Monitor cameras, alarm panels, and other access control systems to help identify unauthorized access attempts and report security-related concerns to site leadership
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communications, documenting actions taken, and escalating per post orders
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter, noting hazards and/or unusual activity and completing required reports
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Access control and/or badge experience
Customer service experience
A state, county, or city issued security license
