Responsibilities
Preparing invoices and verifying accuracy
Preparing required forms and providing required backup to Clients
Working closely with Project Team throughout Billing Process
Resolving invoice information issues in a timely manner
Setting up Jobs
Entering Miscellaneous charges to Projects prior to Billing
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous experience in project-based billing
Background in accounting
Ability to quickly pick up new accounting software programs
Regularly use MS Excel
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to act as a positive team player in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Project Based Billing
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the executive team, team members, clients and general public in a professional and polite manner
Ability to successfully problem-solve in an accounting environment
2+ years' experience utilizing MS Office products, specifically Excel and Word
Able to follow instructions, understand and comply with accounting techniques, policies, and procedures
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills that will ensure cooperation across departments
Demonstrated strong Attention to detail
High levels of accuracy as it relates to data entry
Ability to work under pressure in a faced-paced, multi-tasking environment
Ability to prioritize & effectively deal with a variety of requests from multiple sources
Ability to work well with others, have a team player mentality, and a positive attitude
Preferred
Previous experience in the architectural/engineering/construction industry
