Human Resources Generalist
Engineered Plastic Components is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage various HR functions. The role involves overseeing recruitment processes, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring strategies
Conduct background checks and reference verifications
Prepare and extend job offers, coordinate onboarding processes
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution
Promote a healthy workplace culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives
Support performance management by assisting managers with goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure smooth onboarding transitions
Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and support open enrollment
Assist with payroll processing and compensation-related tasks
Identify training needs and develop learning programs to support employee growth and skill development
Facilitate training sessions and evaluate their effectiveness in achieving learning objectives
Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with legal requirements
Manage HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy
Generate HR reports and metrics to support decision-making
Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks and support organizational initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required
Prior HR experience through full-time roles or internships
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate with employees and management
Ability to handle employee relations, resolve conflicts, and mediate grievances
Understanding of HR principles, employment law, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Adaptability to changing technologies and business needs
Cultural awareness and sensitivity in a diverse workplace
High standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Preferred
Background in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, or benefits administration preferred
Current or previous plastic experience preferred
