Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of recreation activities such as games, sports, crafts, field trips, swimming, aquatics classes, and special events
Assist in maintaining order and ensuring participant safety; rendering first aid, when necessary
Tutor participants
Interact with participants and their families
Provide information to the public, communicating department policies, and following-up regarding questions/concerns received
Monitor activity locations and report any security concerns
Process activity sales/cash register operation
Collect and entering participant data
Assist in organizing supplies and equipment
Prepare materials (e.g.: copies, craft supplies, etc.) for activities
Assist with activity set-up/clean-up
Assist with light custodial work
Perform similar duties in support of recreation programs and/or community center operations
Qualification
Required
Customer service experience is desirable
Must be certified in First Aid and CPR (this will be provided by the City)
