Responsibilities
Supervise, train, coach, and develop team of up to 6 HVAC Field Technicians and Apprentices to repair/retrofit/replace heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, utilizing knowledge of theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts
Help organize employee workflow (scheduling, organizing, and dispatching); monitor work for quality
Serve as direct customer contact, answering inquiries and responding to special requests
Conduct supply/equipment inventory
Schedule and complete preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles
Work with Project Manager to prepare for onsite installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary
Maintain paperwork and organize data for reports, presentations, and/or special projects
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, plus 10 years HVAC experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have knowledge of various HVAC products, systems, electronics, and pneumatic controls
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
EPA approved Universal Technician Certification
New Hampshire Gas License; Maine and Massachusetts Licensing a plus
Effective communication, mathematical, and computer skills
Ability to use hand tools and power tools, and read schematics or engineering specifications
Flexibility to work on call 1 day every 2 weeks
