Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end processing of high-volume vendor invoices with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls
Review and validate invoice coding, approvals, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies
Perform advanced vendor account reconciliations and resolve complex discrepancies
Own weekly payment cycles, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
Maintain and enhance vendor records, onboarding, and compliance documentation
Support month-end close through AP accruals, account analysis, and reporting
Serve as a primary escalation point for vendor inquiries and issue resolution
Assist with audits and provide required AP documentation
Partner cross-functionally to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements
Support testing, configuration, and early adoption of a new NetSuite AP environment
Qualification
Required
4–6+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices
Experience in high-volume, multi-location, or multi-entity environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
Clear communicator with a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
Preferred
NetSuite experience strongly preferred
Prior involvement in system implementations, AP automation, or process improvement initiatives a plus
Experience in food & beverage, hospitality, retail, or other multi-unit operating environments preferred
