General Sales Manager

Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and performance management
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies focused on B2C (business-to-customer)
Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting and cold calling to closing deals, ensuring consistent lead generation and conversion
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent negotiation skills, personalized communication, and exceptional customer service
Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track sales activities, analyze data, forecast future sales, and identify growth opportunities
Manage inventory levels related to retail or dealership environments, ensuring optimal stock control and inventory management practices
Conduct public speaking engagements, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote offerings and enhance brand visibility
Support marketing initiatives by providing feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Implement upselling strategies to maximize revenue from existing customers while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards
Maintain organized records of all sales activities, reports, and client interactions to support continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in outside sales, B2C sales, or customer support with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close high-value deals confidently
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in CRM software, retail math, inventory control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills—public speaking experience is a plus—and phone etiquette for outbound calls and client interactions
Demonstrated leadership in sales management roles with a focus on coaching teams and driving performance improvements
Knowledge of marketing strategies and customer service best practices to enhance overall client engagement
Preferred
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse client bases effectively
Background in funeral services, automobile or retail sales is preferred; experience with inventory management is advantageous
