$18.19/hr - $18.56/hrThe City of Missoula Parks & Recreation Department is seeking dedicated and hard working Conservation Lands Restoration Attendants to help maintain and restore native plant communities and wildlife habitat on the City's Conservation Lands System. As an attendant, you'll play a vital role in preserving native plant communities, managing invasive species, and ensuring the health of our conservation lands.

Responsibilities
Implement invasive species control using chemical and mechanical methods (herbicide application, hand pulling, cutting, chipping, etc.)
Perform light forestry restoration to improve forest health and control woody invasive species
Maintain restoration of native plant communities and wildlife habitats on conservation lands
Collect native plant materials and maintain planting and restoration efforts in the greenhouse and fields
Provide maintenance of prior restoration planting projects and sites, such as: watering, and weeding
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of small equipment
Qualification
Required
Any combination of training and experience in construction, landscaping, facility maintenance or another relevant field
Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position
Must have a valid Montana driver's license with a verified acceptable driving record, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire. (Valid out-of-state driver's license are acceptable for students)
