Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, tax reporting, and variance analyses
Oversee Accounts Payable by ensuring operations can scale concurrent with business growth
Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets, monitor financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance
Lead the annual audit process, in partnership with external auditors, and ensure we are "audit-ready" at all times
Manage all accounting functions for multiple entities and locations
Be a key contributor to the culture of innovation, constantly exploring ways to push the boundaries of healthcare
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role, with a preference for in-house accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with an active CPA license
Experience with multi-entities and locations
Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax reporting requirements
Power user of modern finance tools such as Excel, Stripe, Bill, and Quickbooks
Managed audits with end-to-end ownership of the process
Familiarity with subscription or membership-based business models is an advantage
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Comfortable in the dynamic, fast-paced environment of a healthcare technology startup
Preferred
Proven experience as an early finance hire or sole contributor at a high growth organization
