Responsibilities
Serve as the senior-most financial leader, overseeing all accounting and financial operations
Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team of 4 direct reports (Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, and two Staff Accountants)
Partner closely with the CEO and executive leadership team on financial strategy, reporting, and growth initiatives
Present financial information and insights to the Board of Directors with confidence and clarity
Ensure compliance, accuracy, and scalability across financial reporting and controls
Qualification
Required
CPA required
Proven leader who enjoys mentoring, developing, and empowering teams
Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with Board members and senior stakeholders
Self-directed, 'go-getter' mentality with comfort operating in a low-bureaucracy environment
Preferred
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred, including exposure to Medicare/Medicaid cost reporting and Part D bids
Experience with Power BI preferred
ERP experience a plus (Epicor exposure helpful but not required)
