Responsibilities
Collaborates with Bond Claims team members to efficiently enter and maintain documents in claims system
Prepares letters, such as acknowledgements, notices, indemnity releases, and check transmittals
E-docs claim documents into files. Enters information into claims system
Opens new preliminary claim files, sets signal reserves, and prepares initial claim notes in claims system
Scans documentation received to claim files and labels documents within claim files
Files general indemnity agreements (GAIs) for new and existing accounts received
Ensures acknowledgement letters are sent confirming execution of GAIs
Handles all tasks related to centralized outgoing mail for EMC Bond
Prepares and inputs checks for payment of claims and enters recoveries received on claim files and transmittal of payments
Assists Bond Support and Claims Associate in coordinating information for outside counsel, consultants, and vendors
Maintains vendor information and codes
Reviews and prepares payments of bills. Contacts vendors and billing support as questions arise
Prepares closed files for off-site storage
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalency
Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Accurate data entry skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of Excel and Word
Ability to file alpha and numeric information accurately
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time while meeting deadlines
