Product Manager, Engines and MEMS (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Lead PMT initiatives to drive proactive problem-solving across the product line
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges such as resource allocation, yield improvements, and on-time delivery (OTD) issues
Act as a key point of contact to ensure timely resolution
Proactively identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, assembly, and quality control
Drive strategic planning efforts, including the development of technology programs focused on hardware production advancements
Monitor product line strategies and metrics, such as production schedules, inventory reduction, and cycle times, to ensure operational goals are achieved
Guide continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance yield, and reduce scrap and rework
Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards in hardware production
Partner with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production readiness
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and foster a culture of excellence, safety and quality
Review and present plans, progress reports, and proposals related to the business aspects of the product line
Develop and execute new product line strategies to ensure capabilities required match market timing
Support business development efforts, including proposals, budgets, and contracts
Direct all phases of the product lifecycle, from inception through completion, ensuring successful outcomes at each stage
Act as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership experience with a focus on hardware production and manufacturing
Experience in managing product lifecycles, continuous improvement efforts, and/or supply chain coordination for physical products

Preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Ability to drive strategic initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
SAP Business System Experience
Industry certifications such as Six Sigma/Lean/Project Management
Prior Aerospace and Defense experience
