Responsibilities

Investigating RF and microwave challenges and working with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions
Designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF circuits, antennas, and other RF or microwave elements
Guiding the architecture and implementation of RF solutions and analysis
Addressing complex problems using practical engineering principles and methodologies
Delivering solutions that redefine what's possible in RF engineering
Making impactful decisions and technically contributing to projects
Performing trade studies for RF hardware and making hardware recommendations

Required

Experience with RF or microwave components, including amplifiers, frequency converters, RF switches, attenuators, mixers, oscillators, filters, and antennas, and metrics such as signal to noise and noise figure
Experience with time or frequency distribution using multiple instruments
Experience with RF measurement tools such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
Experience with MATLAB or Python, and GitHub for data processing applications and software or algorithm development
Experience integrating software and hardware using FPGA design and unifying multiple hardware components into a single command and control structure
Ability to characterize RF components, and troubleshoot and debug RF hardware and code in a lab setting
Ability to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment, adapt to evolving technical needs, and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to perform trade studies for RF hardware and make hardware recommendations
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Science

Preferred

Experience with RF or microwave design techniques such as electromagnetic (EM) simulation
Knowledge of lab automation and scripting to streamline testing processes and data acquisition
Knowledge of signal or data processing techniques and algorithms
Possession of excellent analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
