Responsibilities

Manage the California Health Care Facility, which includes multiple intermediate and acute health care programs for adult patients-inmates of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR)

Responsibility for all of the Facility’s operations

Coordinate with departmental headquarters, other CDCR institutions, and for external relationships with governmental, legislative, community and business leaders at the state and local level

Experience managing health care programs for adult patients-inmates

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, health care partners, and communities

Experience managing external relationships with governmental, legislative, community, and business leaders at the state and local level

Ability to provide the highest level of health care possible to a diverse correctional population
