Responsibilities
SAP CDP Configuration & Management – Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP Customer Data Platform to meet evolving business needs
Data Modeling – Design and implement robust data models to support customer segmentation, personalization, and advanced analytics
Data Validation & Quality – Establish validation rules and automated checks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Data Enrichment – Integrate external and internal data sources to enhance customer profiles and attributes
Data Transformation Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to prepare data for downstream use cases
Integration Management – Collaborate with development and integration teams to connect SAP CDP with SAP Emarsys, SAP CDC, SAP BTP, and other existing retail technology systems like analytics, discount, product, and transactional systems
Documentation & Governance – Maintain clear documentation of data structures, transformations, and processes in compliance with governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Stakeholder Collaboration – Partner with business stakeholders to translate marketing and analytics needs into technical data solutions
Performance Optimization – Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to ensure scalability and reliability
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Customer Data Platform (or similar CDP solutions with a strong willingness to ramp quickly on SAP CDP)
Proficiency in data modeling concepts (relational, dimensional, entity-relationship)
Strong understanding of data quality best practices and validation frameworks
Experience in data enrichment using APIs, 3rd-party providers, or internal data sources
Solid experience with data transformation tools and query languages (SQL, Python, or similar)
Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, integration patterns, and APIs
Familiarity with customer data governance and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Experience in MarTech ecosystems and integrations with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools
Experience working in technology or marketing in a retail environment
SAP CDC Configuration & Management
Configure and maintain the SAP Customer Data Cloud platform, integrating with SAP CDP and other internal systems
Knowledge of identity resolution and customer profile unification processes
Familiarity with cloud platforms (SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
SAP CDP and/or CDC certified
