Product Manager II, XR System UI

Responsibilities
Adapt and expand core Android System User Interface (UI) fundamentals for both spatial 3D environments and non-visual interfaces
Develop a strategy that balances a unified Android XR system behavior with the need for device-specific adaptations based on hardware capabilities
Drive an AI-forward system UI strategy that partners cross-team to automate creation of interfaces and deliver contextually relevant information for devices with limited or no visual display
Collaborate with UX and UXR teams to define an intuitive system design language that prioritizes intuitiveness and ease of use across various form factors, and cultivate relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams (e.g., platform, input, experiences) to ensure System UI manages app dependencies, input modalities, and platform integrations
Drive user-driven quality and performance KPIs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc)
Preferred
Master's degree in a technology or business related field
2 years of experience in the XR industry, including launches and research
Experience adopting system interfaces to new products or product categories
Experience developing new system capabilities, features, and interfaces
Experience working with external partners to jointly ship products
Experience developing conversationally-driven interaction systems
