Responsibilities
Manage your own caseload from inception to resolution
Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests while meticulously adhering to deadlines
Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials
Engage closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to devise effective litigation strategies
Provide clients with updates and interim status reports on their cases
Conduct in-depth legal research
Preparing memoranda to bolster case strategies
Work alongside partners and senior attorneys to ensure seamless case management
Qualification
Required
A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar
At least one (1) year of prior civil litigation experience
Experience in both Massachusetts state and federal courts
Strong advocacy skills
Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions
Ability to perform legal research and respond to discovery requests
Experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
