Operates plant equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, generators, compressors, vacuum, medical gas, fire pump, fire alarm, building controls, and many other building infrastructure systems

First Grade Stationary Engineers licenseOperating central plantTroubleshooting plant operationsAnalytical MathematicsP.C.Reading blueprintsRecord keepingCommunication Skills

Required

High School or GED
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English (job-related instruction)
Must be able to pass skills assessment for this level or above
First Grade Stationary Engineers license required
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contract)
Writing /Composing (Correspondence / Reports)
Analytical Mathematics
P.C
Ability to keep records of activities performed
Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
Able calculate and interpret quantities using standard measuring devices

Preferred

Four years experience operating a central plant preferred, including ability to troubleshoot complex plant operations and maintenance problems
Valid Texas Drivers License preferred
