Technical Program Manager, Security

As a Technical Program Manager in Security, you will lead complex projects, manage stakeholder communications, and help the Google Public Sector team provide program management services for a key municipal client.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact
Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported program(s)
Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals. Build, maintain and enhance business, operational, and management dashboards
Understand how organizations collect and use cyber intelligence about threat actor groups, methodologies, and motivations to build threat-informed security improvements
Prepares and delivers briefings, assessments, lessons learned, metrics analysis, after action reports, and other program documentation, both verbally and in writing, to client executives, security team, and other key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
3 years of experience in cyber threat management, cyber risk management, security operations, intelligence collection, analysis, and production
Preferred
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience, understanding of and interest in cybersecurity and privacy and CISSP, CISM, or CISA or related certifications
Understanding of network protocols and operating systems
