2026 Audio-Visual & Lighting Intern - Music Festival

Caroga Arts Collective is seeking an A/V & Lighting Intern for the 2026 Caroga Lake Music Festival. The intern will assist with equipment maintenance, setup, and support for performances, working closely with the Production Manager and other festival staff.

Responsibilities

Assist with overall equipment inventory maintenance and support for events
Assist with equipment transportation from/to venues, audio/visual/lighting equipment setup, testing equipment, and tear down for all concerts during the festival
Assist with video and audio capture for all performances and events, as needed
Support third-party sound/AV/lighting companies during setup and events
Moving equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
Assist in stage changes during shows
Other duties as assigned. These may include providing transportation for artists, shooting photos and videos for archival and promotional purposes, maintaining the upkeep of shared areas, etc

Required

Experienced with PA equipment, microphones, digital audio interfaces, DSLR, video cameras, projectors & associated cabling
Experienced with Avid Pro Tools, Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or other alternative software
Ability to troubleshoot A/V connection problems and coordinate hardware and/or software solutions
Proficient computer skills, specifically Google Suite
Motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently
Detail-oriented and organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Driver's license and access to own vehicle are highly preferred
Access to a personal computer is preferred
Fluency of artistic/music language

A stipend of $2000
An additional $350 stipend for meals
