The role involves ensuring consistency and governance of Master Data tables in the Item Master system, as well as communicating with vendors and internal SMEs to address data-related issues.

Responsibilities

Help ensure that the Master Data tables in the Item Master system are built out and are consistent and governed across all the plants
Speak the maintenance lingo and dig into the Item Master from a consistency/cleanup perspective
Communicate with the external vendors and the internal SMEs to answer any questions (or get the answers) needed
Create an Item Master to get good clean use out of the system and fill in any and all gaps regarding the priorities of the parts, buying experiences, invoices, and characteristics of the parts
