Procom is representing an Oil & Gas client seeking an IT Quality Assurance Specialist IV for a 12 month role. The position involves ensuring software deliverables meet industry standards through automated test plans and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Design and execute automated test plans

Track and report on quality assurance metrics

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing

Manage multiple tasks and projects independently and within a team

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fields

6+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer

Hands-on experience with UFT and/or Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, JMeter

Proficiency in VBScript and/or scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby

In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Experience writing complex SQL queries to manage and validate data in test environments

Preferred

Proficiency with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, TestRail, Inflight, Jira, and ServiceNow

Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including Regression, Unit, Integration, System, and Blackbox testing

Experience in all phases of the software and testing lifecycle from inception through deployment

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Working knowledge of Commercial Gas Transmission Pipeline Systems
