This role is responsible for leading day-to-day accounting operations while partnering in budgeting, general accounting functions, payroll processes, and ensuring positive financial outcomes.

Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting, Payroll, and Accounts Payable teams
Oversee general accounting operations including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
Support the development, monitoring, and analysis of operating and capital budgets in collaboration with the CFO
Oversee timely, accurate payroll processing and compliance with applicable regulations
Strengthen internal controls and maintain policies and procedures that promote financial integrity
Oversee Accounts Payable processes to support accuracy, timeliness, and vendor satisfaction
Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare, state, and federal regulations
Qualification
Required
Accounting degree required, or currently enrolled in an accounting program, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
One to three years of management experience required, with management experience specifically in accounting
Previous Payroll and Accounts Payable experience required
Demonstrated effective computer skills with functional proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Proven team orientation and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Excellent organizational, time management, and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
Preferred
Experience analyzing business performance and developing financial plans within a healthcare environment is desirable
