Human Resources (HR) Business Partner

Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense company, seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support their Engineering HR Organization. Responsibilities

Collaborate with Engineering leaders to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs (e.g., succession planning, workforce development, compensation, and EEO) that align with business goals
Lead, plan, and execute multiple concurrent HR projects from inception to completion, driving organizational change and process improvements
Drive talent identification, performance management, and career development initiatives to build bench strength and enhance employee retention
Act as a trusted advisor to build a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
Work closely with HR peers, leaders, and Centers of Excellence (COE’s) including compensation, employee relations, legal, and organization effectiveness to deliver seamless HR solutions across the organization
Effectively engage with a geographically dispersed leadership team, demonstrating strong cross-cultural awareness

Required

Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of Human Resources experience
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet business needs
Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time
Proven leadership and relationship-building skills, with a track record of fostering collaborative, supportive, and inclusive work environments
Unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity, acting as a trusted partner to all stakeholders
Innovative mindset, challenging traditional methods to drive positive change and results
Exceptional verbal and written communication talents and cross-cultural awareness for effective interaction with a geographically dispersed leadership team

Preferred

Strong technical competence across one or more HR disciplines: Leadership Development, Talent Management, Employee Relations
Demonstrated experience in prioritizing the workday, balancing multiple projects, and working across multiple deadlines
Proficiency in Workday
Previous HR experience in Aerospace & Defense
Current/active DoD clearance
