Responsibilities

Report to the Alfiero School of Business Department Chair
Assist Alfiero School of Business Department Chair and faculty with professional and accurate document creation in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Canva, (reports, presentations, posters, certificates)
Google Calendar meeting and appointment scheduling
Ongoing and timely digital (Google Drive) and physical file maintenance
Bulletin board maintenance
Take meeting minutes
Ensure office supplies are adequate and well-organized
Facilitate purchase requisitions
Answer phones and greet visitors
Photocopying and shredding
Run errands across campus
Mid-August through May: 16 hours per week, in office, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Mon, Tues, Wed, & Thurs

Qualification

Microsoft OfficeGoogle SuiteCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
Previous administrative or clerical experience a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Suite including Google Calendar) and Zoom
Ability to create highly professionally formatted documents
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to work closely with faculty
Adaptable, accurate, problem-solving capabilities
