Responsibilities

Partners with the Executive Leadership Team to provide research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and situational awareness
Assists Senior Business Development Managers and Capture Managers by researching, identifying, and developing new business opportunities within the targeted growth focus areas
Participate in related business planning activities, scheduling and facilitating BD presentations, to include pipeline reviews, gate reviews, weekly and monthly BD reporting
Work with capture teams to brainstorm and refine our win strategies through technical solutions development, effective teaming, staffing and pricing strategies
Tasks associated with this role may include budget and customer analysis, teaming exploration and scope definition, competitive intelligence & assessments, development of marketing materials, capture planning, writing of white papers and request for information responses, win theme workshops and proposal development
The performance is focused on hands-on support and development of key business development, capture and proposal artifacts from start to finish

Required

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated excellence within current role at Leidos OR Masters degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated excellence within current role at Leidos
Demonstrated leadership abilities and skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

Knowledge and experience in the US Government's procurement process
Knowledge of Leidos proposal process and development
Interest in Business Development and/or Marketing
High Energy
Self Motivated
Willingness to continually learn and grow
Ability to work in a team
Ability to work under pressure
