Responsibilities
Administer, design, deploy, secure, monitor, and support enterprise MECM/SCCM and MDT infrastructure
Ensure reliable software distribution, patching, reporting, and operating system deployments (OSD)
Analyze agency software versioning requirements and lead implementation of deployment specifications
Configure and manage application deployments for endpoint devices
Improve endpoint compliance, security posture, and operational efficiency using industry best practices
Monitor MECM/SCCM performance, logs, and events; perform routine security and maintenance activities
Support Active Directory, Entra AD (Azure AD), hybrid environments, M365, and Intune co-management
Implement and maintain Defender for Endpoint (MDE) integrations and security controls
Maintain documentation, provide operational support, and ensure knowledge transfer
Participate in change management processes and identify risks, escalating as appropriate
Collaborate with IT teams, business users, and vendors to deliver effective solutions
Support CJIS, state security standards, and agency policies
Qualification
Required
5+ years of enterprise-level MECM/SCCM and MDT administration
5+ years of experience with Windows OS deployments, imaging, refreshes, and upgrades
Strong experience building and maintaining multiple OS images
5+ years working with Software Update Points (SUP), WSUS, and SQL Server configurations
Hands-on experience with Active Directory & hybrid Entra AD environments
Microsoft 365 administration
Microsoft Intune (co-management)
Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
Solid understanding of SCCM hierarchy (CAS, Primary, Secondary sites)
Experience with boundary groups, site systems, distribution points, and content strategy
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Preferred
Expert knowledge of Windows infrastructure, event logging, and troubleshooting
Advanced experience with client settings and deployment strategies
Compliance baselines and client health
PowerShell scripting, logon scripts, and automation
Automated deployments of OS, drivers, GPOs, and task sequences
Familiarity with high-availability environments
Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
