Responsibilities

Auditing and signing off on Bi-weekly time sheets using KRONOS
Maintaining accurate accrual balances for Upstate employees across multiple bargaining units for an assigned group of employees
Responding to employees various inquiries regarding their time and attendance information
Communicate with department supervisors to provide accurate timesheets based on the different bargaining unit agreements in multiple systems
Update and track time accruals for employees on various types of leaves
Scanning and indexing of various payroll related documents
Have a working understanding and knowledge of current bargaining unit agreements, Civil Service Time and Attendance Rules and other time and attendance regulations

Required

3 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Excellent Written/oral Communication Skills Required
Computer skills and keyboarding are necessary

Maintaining accurate accrual balances for Upstate employees across multiple bargaining units for an assigned group of employees

Preferred

Prior experience in payroll is preferred
Experience working with mathematical and calculation tasks
Experience working with high volume of timecards under a tight deadline
