Responsibilities

Conduct thorough visual inspections of PCB assemblies to verify quality standards and promptly identify any defects
Perform precise hand soldering and touch-up rework on both Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and through-hole components
Execute rework activities in accordance with Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Process Deviations, and Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI)
Accurately document all inspection results and rework activities to ensure traceability and compliance
Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions, and proper board handling procedures
Collaborate proactively with team members to resolve quality issues and share best practices
Communicate and coordinate effectively with Manufacturing Engineering (ME) and Test Engineering (TE) teams, escalating detected issues as needed for thorough investigation and timely implementation of solutions
Contribute to and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department to enhance product quality and process efficiency

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
Proficient in reading and interpreting assembly drawings, specifications, Bills of Materials (BOM), Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), and component values
Strong knowledge of ESD precautions, proper board handling, and safety protocols
At least 2 years of hands-on in PCBA soldering and rework experience
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Skilled in performing detailed work using a microscope
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective written and verbal communication in English
Capable of safely lifting materials and equipment weighing 15–30 lbs
Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, or walking while carrying items

Preferred

associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field
