Accounting Manager
Confidential is seeking an Accounting Manager to play a key leadership role within the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This position will oversee core accounting functions, support the monthly close and consolidation processes, and partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities
Own and drive a timely, accurate, and scalable monthly close across multiple entities, including general ledger oversight, intercompany activity, eliminations, consolidations, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal/external financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Manage the monthly close process for designated accruals and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation
Lead the end-to-end consolidation and intercompany accounting process within NetSuite, including eliminations, intercompany policy alignment, and timely resolution of cross-entity variances
Partner with IT, FP&A, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to enhance the NetSuite ERP environment, improve accounting workflows, strengthen internal controls, and expand automation and reporting capabilities as the organization scales
Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls aligned with SOX-like standards, including reconciliations, segregation of duties, and process documentation
Prepare accounting memos, policy documentation, and white papers supporting key accounting conclusions and transactions
Support the annual external audit and statutory audits, including audit planning, PBC coordination, issue resolution, and communication with external auditors
Support FP&A and finance leadership with monthly reporting packages, variance analysis, revenue analytics, and insights into key business drivers
Lead or support special projects focused on process optimization, system enhancements, and automation initiatives
Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
CPA strongly preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Proven ability to research accounting guidance and prepare technical documentation and accounting memos
Advanced Excel skills and strong working knowledge of NetSuite
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred
Master's in Accounting or related field a plus
Prior industry experience strongly preferred
