Family Dollar is seeking a Banking Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for daily and monthly reconciliations related to the company’s store depository bank accounts. The individual will lead special projects and collaborate with the Treasury Operations Manager to ensure efficient banking operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise (8) Banking Associates and (1) Banking Specialist
Distribute workload to team associates
Reconcile daily bank deposits to store’s POS file
Assist team associates with complex reconciliation issues
Monitor associate productivity and metrics
Oversee month-end closing process and month-end reconciliations
Partner with Sales Audit and Asset Protection to manage outstanding issues and bank investigations
Perform miscellaneous duties and special assignments as needed

Required

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
College degree or equivalent relevant experience in banking or treasury operations
3-5 years financial or accounting experience
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to manage people and lead them to achieve department goals through leadership
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical skills
Intermediate MS Excel and MS Word experience

Preferred

Familiarity with treasury management systems or bank proprietary systems
Previous banking or treasury experience
